How do the theories of depression relate to learned helplessness?
Write an essay (300 word minimum) relating one theory of how depression is caused (cognitive, environmental or biological) to Seligman's theory of learned helplessness.
Suggested format for your answer: Start off briefly explaining the theory of learned helplessness. Next, briefly explain one theory of the causes of depression. Finally, explain in detail how the aspects of your theory of depression could be linked to learned helplessness and therefore, increase the likelihood of depression.
Post your answer on your Depression Blog (2nd blog you created.)
